friendly staff
the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful when i arrived (SOOOO important!). later, i found the restaurant staff and cleaners were just as nice and smiley. the room overlooked the courtyard so it was quiet, just what i wanted. the tv was quite large, and i could log into my own personal uk netflix account, it was like home.
i didn't sleep much because the rooms in the 1st floor facing the street aren't soundproof AT all. you can hear everything from the street, people talking, cars passing. it's more calm around 1am but starts again at 6am! i asked for another room.

the staff greeted me with a smile every morning, and also upon my return from sightseeing. they were very helpful, giving restaurant recommendations, explaining transport links, and offering general tourist information (a big PLUS!).

The hotel is close to transport and main areas. Its location is great. Early check-in was smooth. Our junior suite included a balcony overlooking the park. The room came with many amenities, and we got delicious complimentary chocolates.

The breakfast had plenty of options. This catered well to a full hotel on the weekend. It had lots of varied choices and everything was fresh and appetizing. The bar served a variety of snacks and drinks.

This hotel is well situated for visiting the main sights. The hotel is across the street from a nice big park with a garden, walking paths, playgrounds, and options for food and drink. Many cafes and restaurants are nearby.
